What is semi Seamless?

• OCTG manufactured from Super Duplex and nickel-based corrosion resistant alloy plate
• Economically produced in OD sizes 7” through 9-5/8”
• 110 KSI minimum yield strength
• Manufactured in typical OCTG wall and weight
• Lengths offered up to 45-feet vs. traditional 13-feet average, requiring fewer connections
• Superior uniformity in dimensional tolerances, ovality, wall, yield, tensile, and length compared to OCTG manufactured from the traditional seamless extruded hollow
• Hollows are cold worked to provide a product superior to the traditional extruded seamless products
• Hollows from defect free plate, on both the ID and OD, are roll formed and welded with re-crystallized weldment. Either an autogenous process or a shielded gas arc process with a filler metal matching the base metal can be used
